Handicapping Tri-State Greyhounds for Monday Night

Tonight's 6th race is a grade C contest at 5/16ths of a mile. On the outside, take a look at #8, Coach Lacy. This runner is in a very strong box. This #8 post has been winning an exceptional 19.47% of races lately. But take a look at Coach Lacy's post record. In 6 starts from the 7/8 area, this runner has finished in second 5 times! I love that sort of thing, so I'll give Coach Lacy a shot as my key tonight. Coach Lacy does have the second-best variant-adjusted time, along with the best grade average in the field.

You'll find an interesting handicap waiting for you in the 7th race, which is a grade AA contest at 3/8ths of a mile.

Bluffs Run Sunday Handicapping

In the 1st race today at Bluffs Run, I'm hoping to get decent odds on #1, I’ll Grantuawish. This dog isn't the fastest, nor the highest class, but I’ll Grantuawish has the best post position. This #1 box has been winning over 19% of races on this 3/8ths-mile course. And I’ll Grantuawish likes the inside. In 5 starts from the 1/2 boxes, I’ll Grantuawish has 3 wins and 2 seconds. Watch for good late speed from the #1 runner.

The 2nd race is another 3/8ths contest. And once again I'll go with the rail greyhound, #1, O Ya Ham Bone. This time the #1 dog does have the best variant-adjusted time average on today's Stat Attack.

Naples Handicapping for Saturday Night

On tonight's greyhound card at Naples-Ft. Myers in Florida, there are quite a few interesting races. My night starts in the 3rd race, which is a grade B on the 5/16ths course. Toward the outside, I like #7, Keen Dream. This runner has the best variant-adjusted time average on tonight's Stat Attack sheet. The best benefits, though are mechanical. Keen Dream benefits as a midtrack runner when the #5 and #6 dogs both go hard to the rail. And Keen Dream shows a nice break advantage over the #8 greyhound.

Greyhound Special Handicap: Orange Park on Friday Night

I was working on the Orange Park card for tonight and noticed that there were quite a few nice opportunities to be found. So I've decided to use this card for the Blog today. This is a 15-race performance, with plenty of interesting handicapping angles and the potential for some nice payoffs tonight. Let's have a look at a few of these Friday-night races...

The first opportunity I spied comes in the 4th race tonight, a grade D contest at 3/8ths of a mile. I expect the crowd will be a little too much money on the #7 runner, GS Rambo. While this greyhound has the best speed averages and good late leg, he's starting from a very poor box.
